today i spent my day tending to my small victory garden and going to yet another long day of work. the government has asked us to do as much as we can and i figure planting a victory garden is the least i can do in comparison to how much the fighting troops do for us. victory gardens are our way of providing ample amounts of food for ourselves but mainly the troops. although they are small, put together these gardens generate plenty of produce to go around. in addition to working nonstop, and gardening, we have been putting in efforts to conserve our rubber and other materials. if we weren't o proactive with all of our conservations, many things we do today would not be happening. although life is not necessarily easy right now, we know that things like rationing and saving materials and buying bonds are a necessity and all of this will pay off, we just have to keep our heads up and stay positive and proactive, and pray for our soldiers.
