Things seem to be going very well in the war, and seem to be working in America's favor. This makes me, and many others, very happy because we know that our hard and time consuming work is paying off. Another positive effect of this war is that women and other minority groups have been brought to attention  and have shown that we are just as efficient and worthwhile as anyone else. I feel in my heart that this war will mark the beginning of new landmarks and progressions for women. As a woman it has felt so empowering, being able to get up and go to a job that otherwise i would not have worked at. If these kind of steps are being made where women are being trusted and valued more, then who knows what kind of advancements we will make in ten or twenty years! But for now, i am concentrating on my current and future accomplishments and contributions to society in this time where it is most needed. I strongly believe that without such passionate Americans who are willing to do whatever they can for their country, we would be nothing, and stand no chance in a war as large as this. Without everyone's work and cooperation, who would feed the soldiers and civilians, who would supply the weapons and supplies needed to fight in the war, and who would boost the morale of the American people, to fight and pray for a success greater than anyone would ever before accomplish. War is not something people hope or wish for by any stretch, but with a country so understanding, hard working, and cooperative, we can, and will continue to, achieve anything.
